race, the Quermians are designed to be taller than their fore-bearers
and were left to evolve without any predators on their terraformed
homeworld of Quermia.
Equipped with long necks for peering over vegetation, bulbous
heads with a permanently bemused smile, and two sets of spindly arms,
they also have two brains, one located in the chest cavity. Their two
brains can cause mental problems when each brain develops a different
personality.

The Xexto were first discovered during the Galactic Republic in 17,000 BBY, by an Arkanian geneticist looking to continue illegal research outlawed by the Galactic Senate.
At the time the Xexto were loosely organized into hunter-gatherer
tribes on Troiken. The geneticist relocated a portion of the population
to the nearby Quermia and commenced experimentation.
